Job Description

My client, an established business in the food production sector, is seeking an experienced Financial Manager to join their team in Gordon's Bay. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and results-driven finance professional to take ownership of the full financial function in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Qualifications, skills and experience required:

Bachelor's degree in Management Accounting, Financial Management or similar
Completed SAICA or SAIPA articles
3 - 5 years' post-articles experience in a similar industry such as manufacturing, food production, FMCG, agriculture, etc.
Strong understanding of financial principles, legislation and compliance requirements
Excellent communication and leadership skills
High level of integrity and accuracy
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills

Key responsibilities:

Preparation of annual financial statements and management accounts
Cash flow management and reporting
Full function of creditors and debtors
Tax submissions and compliance
HR administration and payroll oversight
Liaising with auditors and preparing audit packs
Preparation of budgets and forecasts
Conducting variance analysis and providing actionable insights
Driving process improvements and financial efficiency
