A well-known international manufacturing printing ink company requires the above to report to the CEO, taking full responsibility for managing and overseeing all financial and administrative functions of the company to ensure compliance with financial and administrative aspects so that laws and regulations are adhered to.Minimum requirements for the role:

• A tertiary qualification in BComm finance or accounting or related is essential for the role.
• A CA or CIMA qualified is preferred but not essential.
• An MBA will be advantageous for this role.
• Previous experience having worked within a financial management role managing a finance team working within a manufacturing company (chemical or related industries) is preferred for the role.
• Previous experience working on SAP or a related system is essential.
• Strong analytical and computer skills including advanced MS Excel skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English both verbal and written.
• The successful candidate must have accounting processing and financial reporting systems knowledge.
• Excellent analytical ability and interpersonal skills as well as strong data management skills.
• Must have extensive experience with regards to budgeting and cashflow management.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Managing and overseeing all financial and administrative functions of the company to ensure compliance with financial and administrative aspects so that laws and regulations are adhered to.
• Responsible for day-to-day bookkeeping, monthly books closing, group reporting, mis, statutory audit, local tax compliance, assisting board of directors in day-to-day administrative matters and commercial interaction within and outside the organisation.
• Analyse and present monthly financial reports internationally.
• Conducting variance analysis of actual revenue and costs against forecast and budget.
• Handling month-end closing of accounts, financial year end audits and preparation of AFS.
• Managing cash flow, debtors and creditors.
• Managing insurance, pension, medical aid and medical insurance.
• Implementing business and growth strategies.
• Chairing hr interventions and disciplinary enquiries.
• Drafting company policies and commercial agreements.
• Preparing annual budgets.
• Reviewing company payroll, PAYE, vat and prepare corporate income tax and deferred tax.
• Handling workplace skills plan, and skills development levy submissions.
• Managing and overseeing the it function of the business.
• Handling legal matters and SA business PL.
• Preparing and completing applications and presentations for tenders.
• Handling commercial negotiations.
• Preparing and drafting all internal and external company communications.
• Managing and overseeing all inventory transactions for goods receipts, goods issued for production and deliveries, finished goods production and production process loss (yield loss).
• Managing and overseeing all inter-company balances reconciliations.
• Managing product costing for intermediates and finished goods segment product and branch profitability.
• Handling all commercial negotiation of local contracts, updating the board of directors.
