Relevant Financial / Accounting degree with further qualifications: CA (SA) or CIMA highly advantageous
Min 5 10 years experience in a medium to large manufacturing company
Advanced excel skills, knowledge of SAGE X3 advantageous
SQL programming for extraction of data and compiling of reports
Independent worker, good communicator on all levels

DUTIES
Lead, manage and control of the financial / administration staff Bookkeeper, Credit Controller, Stock Controller, Switchboard Operator / Receptionist, raw material storeman and finished goods storeman
Management of the payroll and time keeping systems
Ensure correct and timeous reporting / payments and compliance regarding COIDA, SARS, National Bargaining Council, Retirement Funds, Medical Aid and payroll related compliance, payments and reportings.
Liaison with the Group - insurance, policies & reporting standards
Timeous submission of Production Incentive (and/or any other Grants that may become available) applications & claims
Ad-hoc financial related issues that may arise from time to time.
Control & co-ordination of monthly stock counts & in-depth investigation of variances
Ensuring Bills of Material in the SAGE system are accurate & up to date
Management of company cash flow requirements.
Ensuring efficient collection of debtors amounts owing.
Calculation of Income Tax and deferred tax with input from the Group CFO.
Supporting GM with operational & pricing decisions by providing financial input
Developing a detailed understanding of all production processes of the company.
Adherence to and enforcement of the policies and procedures of the Group.
Introducing new systems / controls as needed
Other duties that may be expected of a senior financial executive.
