Job Description
Knowledge, experience and skills:
- Tertiary financial qualification
- 5 years' experience in senior financial management
- Finance related computer literacy
- Knowledge of a Pulic School environment.
- Strong inter-personal and communication skills.
- Strong negotiation, problem solving and analytical skills,
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
- Ability to build, manage and work in teams.
- Proactively manage finances ensuring implementation of best practices.
- Analysis of actual financial performance against short and long term plans.
- Drive risk management to optimize working capital managment.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and Department of Education requirements.
- Management of Information Systems.
- Administration of Human Resource system including payroll, school insurance, statory and Department of Education returns.
- Contract negotiations with service providers.
