Financial Manager: Consolidations

My client is a global corporation headquartered in the European region, with a significant presence in both worldwide consumer and industrial sectors. The entity is an industry giant in adhesive and sealant solutions, they provide a wide range of adhesives, sealants, and surface treatments.
The successful applicant will report to the Financial Director and will be responsible for preparing consolidated financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards and regulations, such as Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Collecting financial data from subsidiary companies, divisions, or affiliates and integrating it into a single, comprehensive financial report. Ensuring consistent application of accounting policies and procedures across all entities within the group to maintain uniformity in financial reporting. Incorporating consolidated financial data into the budgeting and forecasting processes to support strategic planning and decision-making. Identifying and mitigating financial risks associated with the consolidation process and related activities.
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- CA(SA)
- 3-4 years post article experience
- Manufacturing industry background experience
