Duties:

  • Lead and Oversee: Manage the entire financial department, ensuring the financial health of the organization.
  • Financial Accounting Management: Oversee debtors, creditors, cash book, and balance sheet reconciliations, maintaining compliance with IFRS standards.
  • Month-End Reporting: Drive the month-end reporting process, including trial balance finalization, revenue reconciliations, and executive team discussions.
  • Cash Flow Management: Prepare and analyse weekly and bi-weekly cash flow forecasts, ensuring liquidity and strategic financial planning.
  • Compliance and Internal Control: Uphold local and group policies, strengthening the internal control environment.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and develop a team of three direct reports, fostering a culture of collaboration and growth.
Job Experience & Skills Required:
Qualifications:
  • Matric (Grade 12)
  • BCom Accounting
  • BCom Honours / CTA
  • CA(SA)
Experience:
  • Completed SAICA Articles
  • At least 8 years in finance, with 5 years in a management role.
  • Leadership and team management skills
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is highly desirable
  • Hyperion and SAP experience is a plus
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • IFRS and VAT expertise
