Would you like to be part of the team on the ground of a new renewable energy business that will be a pioneering it's way through the sector to be the first of it's kind to deliver energy in the intended structure? If you are CA(SA) qualified, with 2 - 5 years post-qualification experience, solid understanding, through experience, of the renewable energy sector, then this may the role of a lifetime for you!

Responsibilities:

• Reporting including monthly management accounts, variance analysis, P&L performance analysis
• Budget including preparation, review, cashflow simulation and project forecasting
• Understand the EPC (Engineering, Construction & Procurement Contracts) and financial close agreements and manage the progress through the construction phase
• Loan compliance including management, reporting and stakeholder communication
• Working capital management including ownership of monthly, statutory and annual reporting
• Audit including preparation and coordination of audit deliverables
• Tax compliance and company secretarial responsibilities

Requirements:

• Qualified CA (SA) qualification required, with 2 to 5 years' relevant commercial experience
• Excellent technical and analytical financial management skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to excellence and accuracy
• Strong reporting skills (Advanced Excel)
• Experience in renewable energy highly advantageous, with other energy, utilities, asset heavy industries as a minimum
• Experience in project finance management advantageous
• Entrepreneurial spirit is a must
• Commercially astute with excellent communication and relationship building skills
• Results-driven attitude with commitment to high quality output
• Ability to manage and prioritise own workload
• Hard-working, committed and dedicated - energetic and highly focused
• Proactive self-starter and high-achiever who thrives on a challenge
