Job Description

Your duties will include but are not limited to:
Oversees all corporate, accounting and finance functions and activities, including treasury management, reporting and analysis, and financial consolidation
Develops, recommends, and implements improvements to internal control processes, striving to build a more robust accounting and finance department
Banking, credit card management, top-ups as required, and managing cash function
Oversee creditor reconciliations and weekly payment summary reports. Process creditor payments in the bank
Oversee customer invoices issued and customer reconciliations to ensure that all expenses are invoiced
Working closely with all other company department heads and managing tasks needed
Implementation of systems to ensure efficiency and productivity in the finance department that can utilized throughout the company by other department heads
Monthly reconciliations and procedures for all group companies
Reconciliation of all intergroup transactions and loan accounts
Preparation of month-end reports and cashflow predictions
Monthly reconciliation and submission of VAT returns for all group companies
Manage the full Payroll and HR function, including staff contracts, payslips and payments
Submission of monthly EMP201 returns as well as annual and bi-annual IRP5 reconciliations
Prepare annual audit files and liaise with the auditors
Admin tasks like opening new companies, new bank accounts, SARS registrations etc
Assist with any requirements from the CEO in relation to personal companies, etc
Any further finance-related tasks

Skills & Experience:
Strong finance accounting principles
Deadline-driven
Excellent communication skills

Qualification:
Degree in Financial Accounting
CA(SA) advantageous
Minimum 5 years
