Lead and manage the finance department
Implementation and improvement of controls for risk mitigation
Review monthly management accounts
Ensure deadlines are met and management accounts are ready to be presented to management
Reporting on actual vs budgets
Ensure balance sheet and income statement recons are complete
Review monthly VAT reconciliations and ensure VAT201s are submitted
Ensure optimized cashflow
Review payments
Process general journals accordingly with audit support documents
Prepare for the annual statutory audit
Assist with audit queries
Assist management with the completion of annual budgets
Ensure all statutory and compliance documents are up to date
Skills & Experience:
Full IFRS
Minimum 1 2 years post article experience
Property development experience advantageous
Qualification:
CA(SA) non-negotiable
