Job Summary
Our client, a well established and expanding company, in the packaging manufacturing sector, seeks to employ a Financial Manager, with a background in the manufacturing sector, ideally within packaging or FMCG.
Please note this is not an executive or senior management level role but rather a mid-career financial management role. In addition, due to the urgency to fill this role, only candidates based in the Cape Town region will receive preference.
KEY REQUIREMENTS TO MEET FOR CONSIDERATION:
You must be able to work independently and accurately keep records and be proactive in your approach to ensuring the profitability of the company.
- You will have completed a Financial or Accounting qualification, coupled with 3-5 years experience in manufacturing, specifically preparing financial statements, as well as ensuring the accuracy of corporate governance and controls.
- You will have proven experience in reporting, CAPEX management, cash flow forecasting and management, as well as stock control.
- You will have a firm grasp on tax returns and compliance, as well as reporting and analysing strategy and risk.
- You will have solid experience in preparing budgets, focus on cost saving and have natural people management abilities.
- You must have a valid driver's licence, own car and a clear criminal and credit record
