Job Description
Our client that operates within the healthcare industry is seeking an experienced Financial Director (CA(SA)) to join their team close to Groenkloof, Pretoria area. The successful candidate will take full accountability for the financial strategy, operations, and compliance while serving as a key member of the Executive Committee (EXCO). This executive role requires a strong leader with excellent financial acumen, and the ability to drive efficiency, cost management, and long-term sustainability.
Minimum requirements:
- CA(SA) qualification - essential.
- Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting (or related field).
- 8-10 years' progressive experience in financial management, including 5+ years at a senior or executive level.
- Healthcare sector experience - would be highly beneficial.
- Proven experience in strategic planning, compliance, and risk management.
- Strong leadership, integrity, and communication skills.
- Provide strategic financial leadership as part of the Executive Committee (EXCO).
- Lead financial planning, reporting, and budgeting processes.
- Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounting, debtors/creditors, and cash flow management.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare, corporate, tax, and audit requirements.
- Drive cost management and efficiency without compromising quality of care.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team.
- Advise the CEO and Board on financial performance, risks, and opportunities.
