Job Summary As a Financial Director, you will play a pivotal role in steering the financial strategy of the company, ensuring its continued growth and success.

Duties:

• Work within an Exco team
• Timely and quality reporting [monthly & quarterly within the division and Group]
• Filing of regulatory returns [Vat, PAYE, Tax]
• Take overall control of the companyxe2x80x99s accounting function
• Contribute fully to the development of company strategy across all areas of the business, challenging assumptions and decision-making as appropriate and providing financial analysis and guidance on all activities, plans, targets and business drivers.
• Lead and develop finance teams
• Ensure budgeting processes are carried out and reviewed.
• Take ultimate responsibility for the divisionxe2x80x99s cash management policies.

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Qualifications:

• Matric (Grade 12)
• BCom Accounting
• BCom Honours / CTA
• CA(SA)

Experience:

• 10 years of full cycle accounting experience
• Proven track record in a senior financial leadership role.
• Experience on SAGE and ACCPAC.
• Experience in the security industry or related sectors is advantageous.
• Able to travel nationally when required

Skills & Competencies:

• In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and best practices.
• Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to provide actionable insights.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in financial software and tools.
