Are you a seasoned finance professional with strong offshore and foreign currency experience?
Our client is seeking a Financial Controller who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-border environment and is passionate about driving accuracy, control, and performance across international operations.
This role is based in Bryanston, Johannesburg North.
Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver accurate and complete financial information within strict reporting deadlines
• Oversee all offshore finance functions, ensuring the correct treatment of foreign currency and inter-company transactions
• Ensure proper transfer pricing and monitor "below the line" activities across jurisdictions
• Drive adherence to month-end and year-end processes, including audit file preparation and recon reviews
• Compile and analyse daily sales reports, budgets, and forecasts, tracking performance and financial deviations
• Prepare flash and final reporting packs, including group consolidations and detailed Board packs
• Manage tax compliance, including VAT submissions, reconciliations, and payments
• Implement robust internal controls and policies to mitigate risk
• Provide insightful, tailored financial reporting to stakeholders
• Lead and mentor a team, focusing on growth, development, and performance

Requirements:

• Minimum BCom Honours Degree in Finance/Accounting
• Proven experience managing offshore financial operations
• Strong working knowledge of foreign currency transactions and transfer pricing
• Advanced Excel and ERP proficiency
• Experience preparing consolidated financial statements and Board packs
• Ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines
• Strong leadership and communication skills
