Our client, a leading and well-established player in the manufacturing industry, is looking for a sharp, results-driven Financial Controller to join their team based in Johannesburg East. As the Financial Controller, you will take the financial reins of a fast-paced production environment. This role is not just about balancing books it's about understanding the heartbeat of operations. From Bills of Materials (BOMs) to Work-in-Progress (WIP) tracking, your insights will help drive key business decisions and ensure optimal cost control and financial performance across the board.Duties:
- Oversee all financial operations within the manufacturing environment
- Analyse and manage BOMs, WIPs, and costing structures
- Develop and implement internal controls aligned with production processes
- Collaborate closely with operations, procurement, and production teams to enhance financial efficiency
- Prepare management reports and forecasts to support strategic decisions
- BCom Accounting degree (essential)
- Completed SAIPA or SAICA articles
- Completed BCom degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role within manufacturing
- Strong working knowledge of Bills of Materials (BOMs) and Work-in-Progress (WIP)
