Job & Company Description:
The purpose of this role will be to ensure the completeness of all financial, accounting and payroll records.
Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Leadership of the accounts department
- Maintain financial procedures and systems
- Interpret accounting policies and ensure compliance with country's legal requirements
- Ensure accurate recording of accounting transactions
- Oversee payroll management
- Credit Control
- Debtors and creditors reconciliations
- Profit and loss account and balance sheet reporting
- Statutory books for audit purposes and audit schedules
- Liaison with external auditors on queries
- Payment approvals
- Monthly risk assessments
- Qualified CA(SA), non-negotiable
- 10 to 15 years' experience within finance
- FMCG / Manufacturing industry experience essential
- Strong controlling and analytical skills
- Strong MS Excel skills
- Proven experience working on finance ERP systems
- Strong understanding of financial and business processes
- Meticulous attention to detail
