Be part of a JSE listed with multiple entities. This is a brand new that has been created as the company is growing rapidly. The role is for an individual that is able to implement and maintain systems, processes and internal controls.
Job Experience & Skills Required:
The purpose of this role is for the Financial Controller to support the finance team by compiling documents.
B Com Hon with completed SAICA articles
Independent thinker
SAP
Manufacturing, OEM or Mining industry knowledge
Perform daily reconciliations
Monitor Accounts Payable
Performing bank reconciliations
Summarising the GL into preliminary trial balances
Assist Treasury CoE with cash flow forecasting
Cut off transaction processing, (Ledger maintenance and opening / closing of periods)
Ensure recording of financial transactions in the correct GL accounts
Ensure reconciliations of subsidiary ledgers is completed as per timelines
Managing asset additions, retirements and adjustments and reconciliations
Manage depreciation calculations
Manage and reconcile cash position (SA specific)
Team leadership of 6 members
