Job Summary Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join their team and play a key role in ensuring financial integrity, compliance, and strategic insight across the business.
This role is based in Centurion, Gauteng.
Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements related to financial control, management, and accounting practices.
• Manage the full external audit process and maintain strong audit relationships.
• Produce timely and accurate balance sheet reconciliations, including bank, debtors, creditors, and inter-company accounts.
• Implement and enforce finance policies, procedures, and systems across all departments.
• Compile annual financial statements in line with South African legal and Employer framework requirements.
• Deliver monthly management accounts and financial reports for senior management and the Board.
• Support the annual budgeting process and assist with budget development alongside the Group Financial Manager.
• Prepare and maintain detailed monthly cashflow forecasts to support effective cash management.
• Monitor and report on actuals vs. budget, ensuring timely, accurate, and insightful financial analysis.
• Identify variances and recommend corrective actions through detailed evaluation and analysis.
• Assist with provisional and year-end tax calculations.
• Support ad-hoc financial and accounting tasks as required by management.

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Financial Controller or senior finance role.
• Strong understanding of South African statutory compliance and financial regulations.
• Excellent analytical and reporting skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Advanced Excel and financial systems proficiency.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
