Financial Controller
Job Description
Recognize and support the broader Financial Control strategy threads of credible reporting and process improvement. As part of the function, reliable and high-quality reporting will be expected as standard operating procedures. Participation in and alignment with the ongoing functionalization and process improvement imperatives of Financial Control will also be essential job deliverables. Senior stakeholders will be looking to the selected applicant to deliver analytical insight grounded in a commercial business understanding. Creating, designing, and putting into place systems and procedures that will give assurance that external reporting is correct. Organize project resources either in-house or outside to guarantee that deadlines are fulfilled.
Education:
- Fully qualified CA(SA)
- Postgraduate qualification in insurance accounting or valuations is beneficial.
- 4-6 years experience in a reporting/analytics or project management role
- Corporate and Investment banking experience non-negotiable
- Experience in presenting reports to stakeholders
