Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Governance

Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Ensure compliance with IFRS, internal financial controls and policies, and audit standards. Manage general ledger integrity and oversee accurate processing. Lead audit processes and ensure timely delivery of audit requirements.

Budgeting, Forecasting & Analysis

Drive the annual budgeting cycle in collaboration with department heads. Prepare rolling forecasts and variance commentary for management and group review. Conduct profitability, cash-flow and trend analyses to support strategic decisions. Provide insights on financial risks, opportunities, and performance gaps.

Operational Finance & Controls

Accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank, and cashflow management. Maintain strong internal controls and implement process improvements where required. Monitor cost structures and support cost optimisation initiatives. Ensure timely reconciliations, including bank, balance sheet, and intercompany/group entries.

Business Support

Provide financial guidance to management and operational teams. Support commercial decisions with accurate financial modelling and scenario planning. Assist with group strategic projects, compliance reviews, policy development, and reporting automation.

Minimum Requirements

Qualified

CA(SA)

- essential. Minimum 2 years post-articles experience. Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting frameworks. Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills. High level of integrity, accuracy, and professional accountability. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal). High emotional maturity and professionalism. Strong leadership potential and collaboration mindset.
