With a focus on excellence and customer satisfaction, we strive to maintain the highest standards in all aspects of our operations.Position Overview:We are seeking a highly motivated Financial Bookkeeper/Manager to join our team and oversee the finance department's operations, including bookkeeping up to trial balance with VAT responsibilities. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in streamlining our financial processes by implementing Pastel software. In addition to financial management duties, the role involves proactively drive debtor collections and not be scared for personal engagement with our clients to resolve overdue invoices, with our finance team.Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the finance department, including overseeing bookkeeping processes up to trial balance with VAT responsibilities.
• Implement Pastel software and streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Monitor cash flow, budgetary adherence, and financial performance indicators.
• Supervise debtor collections and maintain regular communication with clients to resolve overdue invoices.
• Conduct financial analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve profitability.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimize financial decision-making and support business objectives.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in financial management and property maintenance.
• Represent the company in financial matters and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including clients and vendors.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Professional certification SAIPA
• Extensive experience minimum 5 years) in financial management/bookkeeping, preferably in the property management or real estate sector.
• Proficiency in Pastel software is essential.
• Strong understanding of VAT regulations and compliance requirements.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proven ability to lead and develop a high-performing finance team.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated track record of driving process improvements and achieving results.
