A global logistics conglomerate seeks a qualified Chartered Accountant (SA) or ACMA / CGMA to join their dynamic team and form part of critical business decision-making and cost saving. The successful incumbent will be based on site at their South African offices based in Johannesburg East.

Job & Company Description:
The successful candidate will take responsibility for efficiently analysing and reporting on billing, revenue and all company costs.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Analysis and reporting of billing, revenue, profitability, company performance, and KPIs for SLA's including variance analysis reports
• Review monthly client and supplier billings
• Review P&L by company and branch, and implement improvements
• Identify and propose relevant cost savings, revenue leakage preventative strategies and revenue improvement initiatives
• Ensure the implementation and maintenance of revenue and billing and procurement related processes
• Oversight of the inventory and consumables
• Evaluation of existing processes and structures and recommend improvements and efficiencies for revenue enhancement and cost savings
• Financial evaluation and reviews of client and supplier contracts
• Oversee financial onboarding processes of new clients and vendors
• Identify and propose solutions for financial risks
• Project related tasks

Education:

• Qualified CA(SA) or CIMA

Job Experience & Skills Required:

• 10 to 12 yearsxe2x80x99 experience within the logistics / courier industry is essential
• Excellent understanding and practical experience of revenue assurance and billing end-to-end functions
• Microsoft Excel modelling skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong presentation and communication skills
• Ability to work with data and systems that support SOP processes
• Strong business partnering skills
• Business and financial acumen
• Meticulous attention to detail
