Financial Analyst (retail)

Job Description
My client is looking for a Financial Analyst with strong analytical skills to interpret financial data, identify trends, and provide insights. A solid understanding of business operations, market dynamics, and financial principles (forecasting, budgeting, cost structures, and profitability).
Responsibilities:
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
- Analyze financial performance and identify cost-saving/revenue growth opportunities.
- Maintain accurate financial data and support decision-making.
- Develop reports, presentations, and dashboards for management.
- Monitor profit margins and expense management.
- Improve financial processes through automation.
- Assist with foreign exchange management and compliance.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
- At least 2-3 years of experience in a finance or analytical role, preferably in retail or a related industry
- Power Bi experience (Essential)
- Strong Excel, financial modelling, and analytical tool proficiency.
- Effective communication for presenting insights to stakeholders.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented, strategic thinker, and adaptable to market changes.
- Proactive in process improvement and efficiency.
