Financial Analyst

An exciting contract opportunity is available with a top-tier international brand in the online gaming and tech sector. Based in Johannesburg North, this role will support senior leadership with timely financial insights, forecasting, and strategic business analysis.
The ideal candidate will have strong financial modelling capabilities, sharp analytical thinking, and an ability to communicate financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders. You'll thrive in a fast-paced, performance-driven culture where adaptability, initiative, and ownership are key.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Financial Planning & Analysis: Prepare and analyse forecasts, budgets, and rolling estimates across departments.
- Business Partnering: Collaborate with operations, marketing, and product teams to assess return on investment and business performance.
- Reporting & Dashboards: Develop executive-level reports and KPIs for business intelligence purposes.
- Cost Control & Profitability: Monitor expenses, identify risks/opportunities, and support cost optimisation.
- Data Modelling & Scenario Analysis: Build and maintain dynamic models for strategic planning and decision support.
- BCom in Finance or Accounting
- SAICA accreditation
- 2+ years commercial experience
- Strong proficiency in Excel and financial systems
- Experience in a digital, tech, or fast-moving environment is an advantage
