This role is for Secondment / Relocation to the Netherlands

Role Summary:

Kula works with clientele across the Netherlands in various practice areas including but not limited to Assurance, Accounting & Advisory.

This role is an onsite opportunity for those who are looking for a move-in that provides exposure to international clients in a new environment.

Responsibilities may vary depending on the scope and nature of the engagement.

Client

Our client a large and listed firm in the Netherlands is looking to bolster its team with two experienced business analysts who can focus both on acquisition opportunities (market analysis and valuation) and on improvement projects within our operating companies such as synergy projects, significant investments and commercial excellence.

Business analysts work closely together with the management of the holding company as well as with senior management of the operating companies and therefore have the opportunity to develop an integral perspective on business. Travel requirements vary, but can reach up to 50% during peaks.

Qualifications and Experience Requirements

• Honours Degree in (Accounting, Finance, Economics, Investments or a related field
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in business analysis, financial analysis, or a related field, preferably in a large listed or multinational corporation.
• Proven track record of successful project management and implementation of business strategies.
• Experience in conducting market research, financial modelling, and data analysis.
• Familiarity with the latest industry trends and the ability to apply them in a strategic business context.

Skillset Required:

• Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills.
• Strong proficiency in financial modelling and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power BI).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas effectively.
• Strategic thinking and the ability to develop innovative solutions to business challenges.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Conducting in-depth market analysis and valuation for potential acquisition opportunities.
• Collaborating on strategic improvement projects within operating companies, focusing on synergy, investment, and commercial excellence.
• Developing comprehensive business strategies and presenting findings and recommendations to senior management.
• Engaging in cross-functional teams to drive business process improvements and operational efficiency.
• Traveling as required to meet project needs, collaborate with teams, and conduct on-site evaluations.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Keeping abreast of industry trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.
• Preparing detailed reports and presentations for executive leadership and stakeholders.
• Contributing to the development of long-term business plans and financial forecasts.
