Job Summary

  • Gauteng based working from home (office allowance offered) or office based in Pretoria and Johannesburg.
  • Extensive product & financial planning training provided.
  • Ongoing support and assistance from business development managers.
  • Training allowance offered during first two months.
Commission

100% of First year commission

80% of Second Year commission

Commission paid daily: 70% released, 30% retained to accommodate tax and other deductions. Balance released at month end.

Information Technology

As an advisor for our Client, you will be provided with a Laptop, your PA will be provided with a Desktop, email address and access to the Networks. These costs will be borne by The Client.

This individual will be responsible for growing a client base and will market all products across the entire group -

Invest,

Health,

Insure,

Business Insurance

Bank.

Build your own insurance portfolio by:
  • Being able to prospect for new clients through networking, Cold calling and door - door canvasing for new business and ensuring good pipeline of business
  • Effective communication with both internal stakeholders and clients
  • Conduct a comprehensive risk evaluation for the client and provide sound financial advice to clients
  • Providing solutions to clients by selling products aligned to the needs of the client.
  • Drafting, tracking and measurement of your personal business plan
  • Providing on-going service and support to your individual client base (amendments, renewals, claims etc.).
  • Retention of existing business including renewal discussion in line with FAIS
  • Keeping abreast with the financial market changes and developments.
  • Achieving/Exceeding targets consistently
  • Providing feedback to line management when requested
  • Attending all weekly and adhoc team meetings
  • Working closely with internal stakeholders that is, underwriting/actuarial, claims as well as surveying
  • Adhering to all quality standards and measures in place
  • Build sound relationships with others through honesty, trust and respect
  • Be self-confident, self-motivated entrepreneurs and relentlessly pursue targets and goals
  • Support and guide clients through the decision-making process by displaying exceptional product knowledge and customer centricity
  • Timeously complete all administrative and reporting duties related to the role

  • NQF 5 industry recognized qualification (minimum of 120 credits)
  • RE 5 (preferrable but not essential)
  • No previous financial planning experience necessary but will be highly beneficial.
  • Must have Valid SA driver's license and own reliable transport
  • Candidate must meet all FSCA requirements
