We're Hiring: Financial Accountant - Pretoria Hybrid!Join one of our clients - A Leader in Transactional BankingAre you a skilled Financial Accountant with a passion for precision, reporting, and insightful analysis? Our client is looking for a detail-oriented professional to join our team in Pretoria and help drive financial excellence within our Transactional Banking Business.As the Financial Accountant, you'll play a key role in managing our financial operations and ensuring accurate, timely reporting. Youll also support decision-making with insightful analysis and help maintain compliance with local and international accounting standardsIf this sounds like a role for you, reach out toDuties:

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (IFRS/GAAP).
• Conduct variance analysis and present findings to management.
• Manage general ledger activities, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Support budgeting and forecasting efforts for our Transactional Banking segment.
• Ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with internal and external audits.
• Provide financial insights to guide strategic decisions.
• Drive process improvements in reporting and controls.

Job Experience & Skills Required:Qualifications:

• Matric (Grade 12)
• BCom Accounting
• BCom Honours

Experience:

• Completed SAICA Articles
• 3 - 5 years experience in financial accounting.
• Strong general ledger, reporting, and audit background.
• Proficient in Sage Evolution and advanced Excel.

Skills & Competencies:

• High attention to detail.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.
• Self-starter who can meet tight deadlines independently.
