Our client is a reputable name in the events, activations, and production space, known for delivering large-scale, high-impact projects across South Africa and beyond. With a vibrant company culture and a passion for excellence! The company is based in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town, currently seeking a Financial Accountant to join their driven and collaborative finance team. You will play a key role in the end-to-end financial management of the business. Working closely with the Financial Manager and project teams, you'll support accurate reporting, budget management, and financial compliance.
Duties include (not limited to)
- Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts
- Monitor project budgets, costs, and margins in collaboration with operational teams
- Manage reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and prepayments
- Ensure timely submission of VAT and other statutory returns
- Assist in audit preparation and liaise with external auditor
- Completed BCom degree in a related field
- 1+ year experience within a similar role
