Job Description
Our client, a leading South African family-owned business with an international footprint in the agriculture and logistics value chain, is seeking a Financial Accountant to join their team. Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of annual budgets for selected entities.
- Coordination and management of the annual audit process.
- Monthly reporting for designated entities.
- Implementation of cost controls and monitoring of expenses.
- Preparation of monthly variance reports.
- Supervision and management of administrative staff.
- Oversight of expense allocation per entity and departmental divisions.
- Ensuring compliance with all tax and statutory requirements.
- Consultation and collaboration with the Group Financial Manager.
- Accounting qualification with completed SAICA/CIMA articles preferred.
- Honours degree will be advantageous.
- Completed articles essential.
- Minimum of 2 years relevant experience advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving ability.
- Ability to work effectively within a team.
- Strong prioritisation skills to manage competing tasks.
- Excellent communication skills in both Afrikaans and English.
