A manufacturing company in Stellenbosch is in search of a skilled accountant to join their team. This individual will work closely with the Financial Manager and assume full responsibility for the accounting function. The company values a collaborative team mindset and seeks someone who can make a positive impact on the organizational culture while consistently delivering high-quality work.
The ideal candidate should have completed SAIPA articles and possess a strong foundation in accounting principles.
Duties:
- Accurate recording of transactions from source documents to trial balance
- Bank recons
- Supplier processing and preparing monthly recons
- Accounts receivable function
- Monthly VAT201 submissions
- Handling basic VAT verifications with SARS
