Financial Accountant xe2x80x93 Head Office, Sandton
A dynamic opportunity has become available for an experienced Financial Accountant to join a forward-thinking organization based in Sandton. This role offers the chance to play a critical part in the financial management and reporting functions of a leading player in the mining sector.Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure full compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
• Oversee and manage financial consolidations and external audits
• Prepare and draft Annual Financial Statements
• Deliver accurate and complete monthly consolidated financial results
• Provide financial and administrative support across business units
• Perform VAT, Tax and other statutory reporting duties
• Maintain stock management reports and enforce adherence to SOPs
• Conduct fixed asset management and support cost control initiatives
• Prepare and analyze budgets, forecasts, and management accounts
• Engage in effective stakeholder management

• Bachelorxe2x80x99s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Sciences or related field (or part qualified)
• At least 3 years of experience in a finance-related position such as Financial Analyst or Accountant
• Solid experience within a mining environment is highly advantageous
• Post-article experience in the mining industry (minimum 3 years preferred)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially advanced Excel skills
• Strong understanding of financial control environments
