Role Summary:
Hire Resolve's Client is seeking to hire a Financial Accountant to join their team in Pretoria. A well-rounded opportunity for a Financial Accountant responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, managing tax submissions, and supporting the preparation of monthly management accounts. This role requires strong technical accounting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:

• Process monthly bank statements using Sage Pastel Partner
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations
• Submit VAT201 and EMP201 returns
• Submit EMP501 (bi-annually)
• Calculate provisional tax (PROVTAX)
• Capture customer and supplier invoices
• Post general journals
• Prepare monthly management accounts

Requirements & Skills:

• BCom in Accounting or Financial Management (completed)
• 3 years' completed SAIPA or SAICA articles (essential)
• Advanced Sage Pastel Partner skills
• ACPAS knowledge (advantageous)
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook (advanced)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Fluent in both Afrikaans and English
• Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively
• Willingness to learn and stay current with industry developments
• Comfortable working across multiple systems
• Strong interpersonal and telephone etiquette skills
• High energy, resilient under stress, and a proactive team player
• Willing to work overtime when required
