A leading company committed to innovation and growth is seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join their dynamic team. Duties:
- Manage and oversee the day-to-day financial accounting functions.
- Prepare and review financial statements and reports in accordance with accounting standards.
- Ensure accurate reconciliation of financial data and support the financial reporting process.
- Gain exposure to property-related financials, including asset management and lease agreements.
- Work closely with the MDA team to manage municipal financial data and ensure accurate reporting.
- Assist with audits, providing all necessary documentation and support to auditors.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal control procedures.
- Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts, and contribute to financial analysis.
- BCom degree in Accounting.
- Completed SAIPA or SAICA articles.
- 1 to 2 years of post-article experience.
- Experience in the property sector and exposure to MDA (Municipal Data Analytics) is essential.
