Financial Accountant
Job Description
A large and decades strong Manufacturing company, based in Hammarsdale, KwaZulu-Natal is in search of a Financial Accountant to join their team. The ideal candidate must be comfortable with IFRS, tax laws and managing a team of Junior Accountant.

As Financial Manager you will be responsible for:
- Management of debtors and collections
- General Ledger and Reconciliations
- Processing transactions on ERP
- Creditors management
- Inter-Group transactions
- Forex Payments
- General Journals Processing
- Accruals
- Prepare Trial Balance
- Prepare Monthly pack
- Liase with management to highlight any issues
- Cashflow management
- Preparation of AFS
- Stock count
- Management of Cashbook and petty cash
- Authorizing & maintaining BEE accredited suppliers
- In charge of the annual audit
- Fixed Asset register maintenance
- Finance team management
- Registered CA(SA) OR B.Com with completed SAICA Articles is non-negotiable
- 3 - 5 years Experience as a Financial Accountant
- Working knowledge of IFRS and Tax Laws
- Sage200 advantageous
- Manufacturing / Retail experience
- Desire and ability to manage a team of Junior Accountants
