Job Description
A dynamic and established retail organisation with a strong national presence is seeking a skilled Financial Accountant to join their team. The role offers the opportunity to work in a driven, high-energy environment where your expertise will directly support operational efficiency and long-term growth.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review monthly management accounts, budgets, and forecasts.
- Manage the general ledger, reconciliations, and journal entries.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and internal controls.
- Liaise with auditors and prepare audit packs.
- Support the finance team with process improvements and efficiency initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Completed SAICA or SAIPA articles advantageous.
- 3-5 years' experience in a similar role.
- Strong Excel skills and ERP system knowledge preferred.
