Financial Accountant - Property Industry
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, review, and analyze accurate and compliant financial statements for multiple property entities
- Manage monthly reporting, reconciliations, and trial balance to final accounts
- Handle budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support portfolio performance
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, property legislation, tax regulations, and internal controls
- Liaise with Auditors, banks, and stakeholders, and assist with the audit process
- Support property acquisitions, developments, and asset management with financial insight
- Maintain the fixed asset registers and ensure timely tax submissions
- BCom
- 3-5 years accounting experience, preferably in the property or real estate sector
- Strong knowledge of property accounting, IFRS, compliance, and corporate governance
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., MRI, SAP, and QuickBooks)
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to work under pressure
