My client is on the hunt for a Financial Accountant to take charge of the entire finance function in their dynamic and growing restaurant team. This is your chance to make an impact where finance meets flavour!
Duties:
- Crunch the Numbers - Maintain spotless records to trial balance and deliver accurate reporting every time.
- Master the Stock Game - Lead stock takes, audits, and variance reports, ensuring every item is accounted for and losses are minimized.
- Keep Suppliers in Check - Own the accounts payable process, from invoices to reconciliations, while building rock-solid vendor relationships.
- Drive Compliance & Efficiency - Spot gaps, improve systems, and streamline processes for smoother operations.
- Be the Finance Connector - Work closely with HR and Payroll to keep data aligned, payrolls accurate, and reporting on point.
BCom in Accounting, Finance, or related field
3-5 years' experience in a similar accounting role (hospitality/restaurant experience = big advantage)
Solid grasp of bookkeeping, accounts payable & stock management
Excel and accounting software expertise
A detail-driven, proactive team player who loves taking ownership
