Skills preferred

• Strong knowledge of IFRS and local accounting standards
• Proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
• Experience with cost accounting, especially in an operational or technical environment
• Ability to manage fixed assets, depreciation, and inventory accounting
• Strong understanding of tax compliance
• Proficiency in accounting software
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Familiarity with ERP systems used in supply chain or maintenance-heavy industries
• High level of numerical accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to analyse financial data and identify discrepancies or inefficiencies
• Strong problem-solving mindset for resolving accounting issues
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
• Collaborative attitude to work effectively with operations, logistics, and procurement teams
• Understanding of inventory and asset management in an industrial or technical environment
• Knowledge of financial practices in maintenance contracts, capital equipment, or engineering services

Qualifications

• SAICA
• B Com degree in accounting
• Articles preffered

What do you need:

• BCom Financial Management or similar
• CIMA will be an advantage
