Job Description
SUMMARY:
Are you a finance pro with a sharp eye for detail and a solid understanding of the property game? We're looking for a Financial Accountant who knows how to manage the numbers behind real estate portfolios, developments, and property investments.
POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibility:
- Preparing and analysing financial statements for property entities to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Managing budgets, forecasts, and cash flow for property portfolios and developments.
- Ensuring full compliance with IFRS, SARS regulations, and property-related tax legislation (e.g. VAT on property transactions).
- Handling lease
Skills & Requirements:
- BCom in Accounting,
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, VAT implications on property transactions, and sectional title accounting (advantageous).
- Hands-on experience with property ERP systems (e.g. MDA, MRI, or similar).
