Financial Accountant

Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate financial statements and insightful management reports
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to guide key decisions
- Oversee general ledger reconciliations and the month-end close process
- Ensure tax compliance, including VAT and corporate tax submissions
- Manage AP/AR processes to maintain accuracy and efficiency
- Monitor cash flow and support effective liquidity planning
- Partner with auditors to uphold strong financial controls
- Analyze manufacturing costs and variances to drive cost efficiencies
- BCom in Accounting, Finance, or similar
- SAICA/SAIPA articles completed (advantageous)
- 3-5 years' experience in financial accounting, ideally in packaging or manufacturing
- Proficient in accounting software and advanced Excel
- Solid knowledge of cost accounting and manufacturing finance workflows
- Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Collaborative and effective communicator
