Financial Accountant (Remote) - Lead the Numbers Behind a Heavy-Duty Operation

We are working with a well-established company operating within the broader heavy industry space - servicing sectors such as mining, construction, and plant hire. With a solid track record, this organisation prides itself on delivering reliable, large-scale operational support across various industries. As the company continues to scale, they are looking for an experienced Financial Accountant to join their finance team in a remote capacity. This role offers the unique opportunity to play a key part in the financial oversight of operational projects while enjoying the flexibility of working from home.
Duties include (not limited to)
- Managing the month-end and year-end processes
- Preparing accurate management reports and financial statements
- Ensuring accurate cost tracking
- Ensuring financial compliance, tax submissions, and statutory reporting
- Maintaining fixed assets and general ledger accuracy
- Providing financial insights to operational teams and management
- Completed BCom Degree in a related field
- 8+ years' experience required within a similar role
- Management experience beneficial
