Job Description
Our client is currently seeking a Financial Accountant to join their finance team in Modderfontein.
Job Profile:
- Preparation and submission of VAT and tax returns.
- Review stock takes and variances.
- Preparation of budgets.
- Review the fixed assets register.
- Preparation of payroll.
- Manage the insurance policies and claims.
- Identify and mitigate risks including credit risk, foreign exchange risk, and insurance risk.
- Preparation of management accounts including income statement, balance sheet, cash flow statement.
- BCom in Financial Accounting (required).
- 3+ years experience.
- Extensive accounting, financial and commercial knowledge and experience
- Extensive tax and regulatory knowledge and experience.
- Experience from the automotive retail or manufacturing sector.
