A wealth management company is ready to expand their finance team. They are looking for a Financial Accountant to support the Finance Manager.
As the Financial Accountant you will responsible for the following:
- Day to day supervision and support of accounting team.
- Ad hoc preparation and capturing of accounting entries in SAGE.
- Daily review of finance journals.
- Daily payments review.
- Weekly preparation and review of financial reconciliations (debtors/creditors/bank).
- Prepare and review quarterly management accounts.
- Support in preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Prepare Annual Financial Statements using CaseWare.
- Assist with the annual audits and review engagements.
- Prepare and review of monthly VAT returns
- Prepare responses and submissions to SARS tax queries.
- Assist with the implementation of business process improvements through extending the use of the accounting system.
- BCom Financial Accounting with SAIPA articles
- CaseWare is a non-negotiable
- 5 years post articles experience
