My client is a globally recognized company specializing in the rental of vehicles. They offer a diverse range of cars and other transportation options for both individuals and businesses, accommodating short-term and long-term rental needs. Their services are available in numerous countries, providing a broad selection of vehicles, including economy and luxury cars, as well as vans.
The incumbent will be responsible for analysis and reporting (Including managing SARS requirements), prepare financial reports for 3 entities, constantly monitor and report on all deviations from budget, ensure timely and efficient processing of the month-end closing process, interact with other departments to review and analyse departmental financial statements, review all balance sheet accounts, monthly reconciliations and any journal entries that may be needed at the month end, prepare monthly pack sfor the unit, prepare, review, and approve recons, calculate interest on long term loans and operational interest for forecast and budgeting purposes, prepare SARS documentation and information as required (VAT returns), complete and submit company corporate tax on One Source, weekly cash flow management and oversee and check the accuracy of the Accountants work.
Qualification and Skills Required:
- BCom Financial Accounting.
- SAIPA or SAICA accreditation.
- 5 years experience.
- 2+ years' experience in the automotive industry is non-negotiable.
