Financial Accountant
Job Description
An established IT Development and Analytics agency is looking for an experienced Financial Accountant to add to their team. This is a great opportunity for any individual looking to join the Fintech industry!
This role does allow the successful individual to work from home however you will need a stable WIFI and internet connection during loadshedding.
Your role's purpose will be running the accounting and financial activities of the organization. Analyse the economic stability of the company and provide financial information to the various divisions, enabling these divisions to make business decisions.
Other duties include, but are not limited to:
- General ledger entries
- Allocations
- Monthly management accounts
- Audit procedures and queries
- Balance Sheet Account Recons
- Monthly integrations
- Timeous reporting: Daily/Weekly/Monthly
- Completed BCom in Accounting
- Minimum of 3 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in a similar role
- Industry experience: IT/Software, NOT manufacturing/FMCG
- Understanding of tech knowledge of standards
- Understanding of Fixed Assets and Tax
- Experience with Great Plains beneficial
- Effective communication and comprehension skills
- Analytical skills
- Team player
- Deadline driven
- Effectively works under pressure
