Our client has an opportunity available for a Financial Accountant based in Fourways.

Requirements:

CA(SA), CIMA or ACCA BCom Honours.
3+ years Accounting, Auditing, Reporting or Financial Planning and Analysis experience.
Previous operational finance experience would be advantageous.
Knowledge of:

IFRS standards.
Tax requirements related to the agricultural division.
Governance requirements and processes relevant to manufacturing, supply chain and commercial operations.

Responsibilities:

Conduct a detailed analysis and provide recommendations of quantitative and qualitative aspects of individual businesses within the agriculture division.
Coordinate the budgeting and forecasting processes.
Support the finance team with ad hoc activities and projects.
Assess operational and financial risks for all business units and ensure that mitigation controls are designed, implemented and effective.
Support internal and external audits.
Identify non-compliance with IFRS and drive the resolutions.
Ensure all statutory requirements are met.
