Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
- Prepare and analyse financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes, reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data, support budgeting and forecasting processes, and provide financial insights for decision-making.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to internal controls and compliance with regulations.
- Participate in the preparation of tax returns, financial reports, and other regulatory filings.
- Assist in developing and implementing financial policies, procedures, and guidelines to optimize efficiency and accuracy.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Articles completed preferred
- 2-3 years post articles experience
