Financial Accountant
Job Description
My client in the insurance space is looking for a Financial Accountant to join their fast growing team. This is 12 month fixed term contract and in the role you would be responsible for data analysis, reconciliations and other accounting related duties. The successful candidate must have had exposure to IFRS 17.
The company is a global organization offering services such as property and casualty insurance, personal and commercial insurance and specialty insurance for various industries as well as reinsurance. They service businesses and individuals alike under different covers. They are stable and fast growing in their niche area, offering longevity, and you are guaranteed to leave the business having had a wealth of exposure and understanding of the insurance space.
Job Skills and Requirements:
- BCom Degree
- Newly Qualified CA(SA) with experience auditing insurance companies
- 3-5 years' experience in an analytical role (If you are not a CA(SA))
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
