Job Description
Position: Financial Accountant IFRS16
Location: Cape Town Southern Suburbs
Salary: R 650 000 to R 750 000 (depending on experience)
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Report to the General Manager Property
- IFRS16 reporting
- Valuations for all property leases
- General Ledger accounting and monthly reconciliations for all property leases
- Variance Analysis
- Reporting packs
- Budgeting and Forecasting
- Audit queries
- Accounting for property rentals
- Straight-line calculations and accounting
- Compliance of accounting provisions in terms of IFRS
- Ad hoc tasks
- Qualified Chartered Accountant CA(SA)
- Excel
- IFRS16 knowledge
- Implementing best practice accounting policies
- Ensuring compliance of accounting provisions in terms of IFRS and legislation
