Financial Accountant

Job Description
Job Summary This position will report directly to the General Manager and offer responsibility over end-to-end financial management, including compliance, reporting, budgeting, and operational oversight.
Ideal candidates will be passionate about financial accuracy, capable of working independently, and comfortable operating in an industrial, food & beverage, and facilities-based environment.
Job Experience & Skills Required:
- Grade 12 and a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- A Master's degree or professional designation (e.g., CPA) is advantageous
- 5+ years of experience in finance or accounting within industrial, food & beverage, or facilities maintenance sectors
- Proficient in accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle) and advanced MS Excel
- Strong report writing and business communication skills (verbal and written)
- Deep knowledge of financial reporting standards (GAAP, IFRS) and relevant regulations
- Practical knowledge of accounts payable, receivable, asset tracking, and tax compliance
- Ability to manage financial statements, budgets, and variance analysis
- Strong attention to detail, decision-making skills, and ability to work under pressure
- Must have own transport and accommodation
