With over two decades helping clients to create and orchestrate the delivery of better insight through Enterprise Performance Management, today we solve a broader range of Finance's most challenging problems - including combining ESG and operational data with financial information to support cross-functional planning, shaping Digital Finance strategy, re-thinking operating models and implementing automation and analytics.

inlumi is looking for a Senior Financial Accountant to join our Finance team in South Africa. The Financial Accountant is mainly responsible for our global payroll activities, however, the accountant will also assist in coaching and training of other financial accountants, as well as assisting with some day-to-day accounting tasks and accounting processes.

Responsibilities

Our Financial Accountant plays an important role within inlumi and as such will need to

• Compile monthly payroll information for all entities (Entities are located in SA, Europe and the Nordics).
• Submit payroll information to our payroll partner (Current partner is ADP).
• Review final payroll.
• After all payroll activities have been finalised, assisting with: project administration, processing of bills and other small finance tasks that might arise in the normal course of the month.
• Taking a senior role in the finance team and assisting with the coaching and training of the other financial accountants in the SA office.

Requirements:

• Experience in payroll processing or a similar role in a global organisation.
• Knowledge of payroll laws and regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience with ADP would be advantageous.
• Experience with NetSuite would be advantageous.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Coaching and training experience would be advantageous.
